Principal Debbie Sheals is an architectural historian with thirty years of experience as a historic preservation consultant. She has worked on hundreds of projects in nine states and scores of communities. Her work experience includes more than 130 successful National Register nominations, work on historic structure reports for nationally significant properties, and a wide array of state and federal historic tax credit projects. She has a Bachelor of Science in Housing Design and a Master of Arts in Art History and Historic Preservation, both from the University of Missouri–Columbia. As an active member of the historic preservation community, she has contributed to various boards and commissions, including Missouri Preservation and the Downtown Columbia Improvement District.
